Last week’s menu went remarkably well. The jambalaya, which was a new dish to all of us, was a hit. I must confess though that I didn’t use shrimp because none of us like it. I had forgotten how much I love Mongolian chicken because it had been a year or so since the last time I made it.
I only have one new dish this week which is the batter dipped chicken sandwiches from Parenting the Tiniest of Miracles.
- Football Casserole, salad and broccoli
- Batter dipped chicken sandwiches, french fries and lemonade. We’re having fakeout Chick-fil-A that night.
- Pintos and rice with toppings and chips and salsa
- Chili with beans. Served with flour tortillas and crackers.
- Slow cooker chicken and gravy with mashed potatoes instead of rice, green beans and rolls. {From Eat at Home}
- Baked potatoes and salad
- Left overs or sandwiches on Saturday. We have a birthday party that afternoon I’m making the cake for so after spending the day decorating cakes I doubt cooking will appeal to me.
