Weekend Linkage

Here are a few of my favorite food related links from this week.

Here are a few simple ways to reduce grocery spending from Good (Cheap) Eats

Liz from Hoosier Homemade shares  how to make a cake mix taste homemade. I will be using this hint later in the month when I make cupcakes for a boy’s birthday party.

Strawberry Pretzel Salad is one of those dishes I see everywhere but have never tried. Maybe next time I need to make something for a potluck.

This homemade Chocolate Syrup would work beautifully in the recipe I am sharing on Monday.

I’ve had Brussels Sprouts once as an adult and didn’t really care for them but these Sautéed Brussels Sprouts with Bacon and Shallots have made me want to try them again.

Meatball Stroganoff looks like a tasty combination of two of my favorite foods.

Braised Cabbage with Bacon. Cabbage is one of my favorite vegetables and this take on it from Add a Pinch looks amazing.
