Menu for September 2 2012

2 Sep

September marks the beginning of my favorite time of year. Autumn means cooler temps, the rich colors of changing leaves and college football.

Some of my favorite foods are best enjoyed in the fall: crisp apples, sweet pumpkins and winter squash, hot chocolate, and soups, stews, and chilis  bubbling away in slow cookers.

Peanut butter crepes, bacon or sausage, fruit

Loaded chicken enchiladas. salad, chips and salsa

Potato Soup, amazingly easy yeast rolls, raw veggies and dip

Smothered pork chops, rice, corn, onion, and pepper sauté

Simple beef roast, mashed potatoes, favorite green veggie
